Help! I need help! Don’t we all.
Some videos are in various formats like .mp4, .avi, .mov, and .webm. These dot-something formats should work if you have the right codec (compressor-decompressor) installed. Try downloading a package from my web or searching online.
If this doesn’t work, right-click on the video link and choose “save target as…” or “save link as…” or something to that effect, then open it directly from your computer’s hard disc.
If you want to get updates, you can subscribe to RSS feeds. (RSS can mean Rich Site Summary, RDF Site Summary, or Really Simply Syndicate. Take your pick.) This site uses My Yahoo! RRS feeds for now. Log in to your Yahoo! account (’cause everybody’s got one, right?) and click subscribe, and it’ll automatically show up in your My Yahoo! page. Clear like mud? Maybe RSS is not for you. I’m working on other means, but for now Yahoo! away!
ixquick – search website (no, I don’t use Google directly very much)
duckduckgo – search website (the one I generally use)
media player codec pack – website for Media Player Codec Pack
media.player.codec.pack.v4.4.5.setup.exe – download from my website (works for me – but do so at your own risk!)
WM9Codecs.exe – download from my website (same warning as above!)
